Meet the people who build the open web

WordCamp Bengaluru brings the region’s WordPress community into one room for two days: developers, designers, agency owners, and the people who ship and run sites every day. Sponsoring puts your brand in front of them, and your support into a community-run, not-for-profit event.

Why this room is worth it

01

Reach the people who decide

The room is developers, agency owners, and makers who choose the hosts, plugins, and tools their teams run on. That is attention built on trust, not a bought impression.

02

Back the open web

WordPress quietly runs a huge share of the internet, and it stays open because communities keep it that way. Sponsoring a not-for-profit WordCamp says you stand behind that.

03

Sit inside the WordPress and AI moment

This year’s theme is where WordPress meets AI. Sponsors are right next to the people building that shift, in the talks, at the booths, and in the hallway chatter.

Pick your tier

Good to know

Your booth

There are no built stalls. The whole sponsor area sits under one covered roof, and your booth is an open, marked-out space in it with cloth-covered tables and a junction box for power.

Setup and teardown

Your booth runs on the main event day, Sunday 22 November, with setup 7:00 to 8:30 AM and teardown 4:30 to 6:00 PM.

Bring your branding

Standees in front of the booth and front-table branding are welcome.

Venue rules

A school campus, so no three-sided wall stalls.

Questions sponsors ask

A quick rundown of what sponsors usually want to know before they commit. If we have not covered yours, the form below reaches the sponsor team directly.

Who will we be in front of?

We expect around 400 attendees across the two days, Contributor Day on Saturday 21 November and the main event on Sunday 22 November: developers, designers, agency owners, founders, students, and everyday WordPress users. The theme this year is WordPress and AI, so you are in the room with the people building on the open web right now.

How do we pick the right tier?

Start with the Compare the tiers table above to see what each tier includes side by side. Suvarna is our most visible, on screen and in the room, and Kanchu is the friendly way in. If you are unsure, choose Not sure yet in the form and we will suggest one based on your goals.

Can we sponsor in kind instead of paying cash?

Yes. Instead of cash you can provide goods or services matched to a tier’s value, such as lanyards, coffee, Wi-Fi, or tote bags. Your passes, booth, and benefits are then set by arrangement based on what you provide.

How is payment handled?

Every payment runs through WordCamp Central’s official payment links. We never collect money directly, which keeps the event transparent and genuinely not-for-profit.

Does sponsoring include a speaking slot?

No. The talk program is chosen on merit and is never pay-to-play. You are welcome to demo at your booth and you will get shoutouts from the stage, but sponsorship does not buy a session.

Will we get attendee contact details or a lead list?

No. WordCamp privacy rules do not allow sharing attendee data, so we never hand out contact details or lead lists. The leads you take home come from real conversations at your booth.

What if our team cannot travel to Bengaluru?

That is fine. Suvarna sponsors who cannot attend can still ship swag for the attendee kit, and we share a shipping address by email, so your brand is in the room even if your team is not.

How do we sign up?

Fill in the form below, or email us at bengaluru@wordcamp.org. Tell us a little about your company, pick a tier, and the sponsor team will follow up with what is currently available.

// deadline

Applications close Thursday, 15 October 2026

23:59 IST. Vetting, passes, booth and branding take about a month to sort out between us, so the earlier you apply the smoother it runs. We read applications as they arrive.
