The call is open until Monday, 24 August 2026. Same terms as everyone above.

// the_coverage

Where it turns up

Each of them runs their own editorial and files to their own schedule. Broadly, the coverage lands in three places.

01

Until 21 November

In the run-up

Previews, interviews with organisers and speakers, and the calls while they are still open.

02

21-22 November

The weekend itself

Corridor interviews, session highlights, and the parts of a WordCamp that never make the schedule: the queue for coffee, the contributor tables.

03

After the weekend

The long tail

Episodes, issues and write-ups on their own timelines. The weekend keeps existing in their feeds long after everyone has gone home.

// not_a_sponsorship

Two different arrangements

The two get run together often enough that it is worth setting them side by side. Both are welcome, and they are not the same thing.

◆ A media partner

Covers the event on their own channels, in their own voice, on their own schedule. In exchange, their name and logo sit on this site, on our channels and in the attendee guide.

  • No money moves in either direction
  • No booth and no speaking slot comes with it
  • No attendee contact details, and no collecting them at the venue

◆ A sponsor

Pays for the event to happen, which is a different arrangement with different terms on both sides.

  • Tiers are Suvarna, Belli and Kanchu, plus Global
  • Global is for sponsors who back WordPress events everywhere
  • What each tier includes is set out in the call for sponsors

If you have asked not to be filmed or photographed, you do not get published. That binds partners too, and it is in the Code of Conduct.

// still_open

The list is not closed

If you publish, broadcast, film or send anything that reaches people building for the open web, the call has the terms and the form.
