WordCamp Bengaluru 2026 is planned and run entirely by organizers from the local WordPress community. Here are all sixteen of them.

The community, not a company

A not-for-profit event, put together by the WordPress community in Bengaluru. Nobody on this page is paid for any of it.

Designers as well, and a banking professional. The day jobs have very little in common with each other.

how long they have been at it

Since 2009, and since last year

Some have been contributing to WordPress for over fifteen years. Others joined the community far more recently.

Senior Software Engineer at Newfold Digital (Bluehost). Five years on block themes, migrations, plugins and performance, and lately on what AI does to the second edit. Plays badminton, cricket and the violin.

Building with WordPress since 2009 and a Core contributor, now working on MarTech engineering at JLL. Part of the Bengaluru community since 2016, through meetups and do_action hackathons.

Contributing since 2021 through volunteering, organizing and hosting. A polyglot, and one of the major contributors to regional language accessibility in WordPress.

A Principal, CBSE Master Trainer and founder of the All India Teachers Symposium, with 20 years in education and training. Panelist at WordCamp Bangalore 2023 and emcee in 2025.

Full-stack WordPress developer and product builder, a decade in. Custom themes, plugins, WooCommerce and LMS platforms, plus a running interest in automation. Volunteered at WordCamp Asia 2026.

Prem Tiwari

Lead WordPress engineer with 12+ years on WordPress VIP Go in enterprise environments, and an active Core contributor. Has built for UK media brands including The Sun and TalkSport.

From Shillong, working as a banking professional at HSBC in Bangalore. She came to WordPress through writing. Runs a small crochet business on the side.

Founder and CEO of Raei Technologies, self-taught on WordPress since 2016. He was lead organizer of WordCamp Bengaluru 2024 and has co-organized the Bangalore meetup since 2023.

Has created and managed websites that help local projects reach a wider audience. Alongside that she is an environmentally conscious entrepreneur, building a small facility aimed at reducing pollution.

A high school computer science teacher and freelance web and graphic designer. He has spoken at WordCamp Bengaluru, WordCamp India and WordFest, and contributes to the Kannada localization of WordPress.

Founder of Codetrappers, a development agency in Bengaluru. He works extensively with WordPress, WooCommerce, performance optimization, headless WordPress and custom business workflows.

WordPress Bengaluru runs a meetup every month, open to anyone. It is the same community this team came out of.
