How the weekend works
Both days are yours, but they are not the same kind of day. Saturday is Contributor Day. Sunday is the main event, and it is the one the schedule is built around.
Sat 21 Nov • needs a separate sign-up
Contributor Day
A day given to the WordPress project itself rather than to talks. People sit in groups by area: code, design, documentation, translations, testing. Mentors are on hand, and you do not need to write code to take part.
Your ticket covers it and there is nothing more to pay, but seats are limited, so it takes a separate sign-up. That form and the venue go up here closer to the date.
Sun 22 Nov • your ticket gets you in
The main event
Talks on two tracks, running all day, so you are choosing rather than sitting through. Hands-on workshops alongside them, lunch, filter coffee, and the hallway track that nobody schedules and everybody remembers.
At St. Joseph’s Boys’ High School, Museum Road, a short ride from MG Road metro. Bring your confirmation, printed or on your phone, and a photo ID.
Everyone at WordCamp Bengaluru follows the code of conduct. By attending, you agree to it.

Ticket questions
Open any of them. If yours is not here, write to us and we will answer it.
Yes. Lunch is served on both days, along with filter coffee and snacks through the day.
No, and there is nothing more to pay. Contributor Day is Saturday 21 November, the day before the main event, and your ticket covers it. It does need a separate sign-up, though, because the room holds a fixed number of people. That form goes up here closer to the date, along with the venue.
You can transfer it, and we are happy to help. Your confirmation email has an edit link: open it, change the attendee name and email, and the ticket belongs to whoever you are passing it to. We are not able to offer refunds, but please do pass a ticket on rather than let it go unused, and write to us if you would rather we found someone for it.
Pass it on to someone else, with our thanks. Speakers, volunteers and organizers are covered separately, so if you bought an Early Bird ticket before you took one of those on, you are free to transfer it to a friend, a colleague, or anyone in the community who would not otherwise make it. Use the edit link in your confirmation email to change the attendee name and email. If you would rather we found someone for it, write to us and we will.
Not this year. The budget goes into the two days themselves: the rooms, the food, the swag and keeping the ticket at the price it is. People do make their own plans for the evening, usually somewhere on Church Street, and that gets sorted in the community WhatsApp group rather than by us.
Yes, unless you say otherwise. Everyone holding a ticket is listed on the attendees page, under the name you register with and whatever picture your email address has on Gravatar. Registration also asks for four optional things: your WordPress.org profile, your LinkedIn and your website as full links, and your X handle on its own. Only the ones you fill in appear, so it is worth having them to hand.
To stay off that page, answer No when registration asks whether you want to be listed on the public Attendees page. You can change that any time afterwards using the edit link in your confirmation email, and it changes nothing about the ticket.
Write to us and tell us a little about your situation. We will let you know what we can do.
