One ticket
Just one. A single ticket covers the whole weekend at one price.
Your ticket=SundaySunday is yours the moment you buy it.
Your ticket+The sign-up=SaturdayYour ticket makes you eligible for Contributor Day, but it is not a seat. Seats are limited and go by a separate, free sign-up, first come, first served. That sign-up opens on the tickets page closer to the date.
No sign-up, no seat. Turning up at BIC on Saturday without signing up will not get you in.
Sunday only is fine. Attending only on Sunday is completely fine. Plenty of people do exactly that.
Saturday 21 NovemberContributor Day
Saturday
Working on WordPress itself.
Saturday is about working on WordPress itself. People sit at tables run by the Make WordPress teams, each focused on one area: translating WordPress into other languages, improving the documentation, helping in the support forums, testing, and writing code.
You do not need to be an expert, or even a programmer. Most tables need only a laptop and a WordPress.org account, the same one you buy your ticket with.

Not everything happens inside the rooms.
The hallway track is the informal part: the conversations over filter coffee, in the lunch line, while everyone gathers for the group photo.
Some of the best connections of the weekend start with one simple question. You do not need to be outgoing or experienced. Just curious.

Is this your first WordCamp?
