The big one. Two tracks running all day and around 400 people through the gate, which is where most of the volunteer shifts are.

Questions volunteers ask
Open any of them. If yours is not here, write to us and we will answer it.
Do I need to know WordPress?
No. None of the eight teams need it, and much of the work has nothing to do with WordPress. Where it does, a willingness to learn on the day is enough.
Can I volunteer for one day only?
Yes. Say which day on the form. One day is planned for rather than tolerated, and plenty of people do exactly that.
Do I have to live in Bengaluru?
No. Apply from anywhere. The work happens at the venue, so the day you sign up for is a day in Bengaluru.
What are the shift timings?
Not set by this form. Once you are placed, your team works the timings out with you around what you can actually do.
Do I get a ticket?
Yes. A volunteer’s ticket is covered, and volunteering gets you into the conference day.
Will I get my first choice of team?
Often. The form takes a second choice because some teams fill before others, and applying early gives your first choice a better shot.
What if I cannot make it after all?
Tell the Volunteers team as early as you can. A gap flagged in the week gets covered. One flagged on the morning does not.
Does the code of conduct apply to volunteers?
Yes, and it is worth reading before you apply. Same rules on both sides of the badge: the code of conduct.
