Amit Singh (Managing Partner, WPoets) is speaking at WordCamp Bengaluru 2026 on “Building the Plane While Flying It: a zero downtime Webflow to WordPress migration”, a 30-minute talk on Sunday 22 November.

A client outgrew Webflow while publishing 120 to 140 posts a month, and freezing content was not an option. Amit walks through the reverse proxy setup that ran Webflow and WordPress side by side on one domain until the cutover.

Every agency knows the dread of telling a high-growth client: “We need to freeze content publishing for two months while we migrate.” When one of our customer outgrew Webflow’s strict 300-page limit and rigid URL structures, their marketing team—pushing 120-140 posts a month—couldn’t afford to stop.

Instead of a traditional content freeze, we ran Webflow and WordPress in parallel.
