Introducing our next Speaker – Ramasamy Ayyappan
With over 13+ years of professional experience, Ram is a senior manager at News Corp, leading the delivery and people management for five programs that span up to 60 talents for the News UK Business Unit. He is responsible for overseeing the SDLC lifecycle, deriving program roadmaps, and engaging stakeholders with work progress through delivery reports.
Ram is also an agile transformation lead, who has implemented agile ways of working and coached the team members on the best practices with tools, situational awareness, and operational excellence. He has successfully built the centre of excellence team for software testing and engineering acceleration, and led the program delivery expectations for the Specialist Titles Program of News UK, which is accountable for 20 websites across the News UK brands. Ram is passionate about bringing the best out of people and delivering consistent results in the digital news media and e-learning domains.

Session Description
The topic covers a story telling of how News Corp India as an Organisation have cherished WordPress as a Technology for their CMS platforms followed by How much potential we saw with the technology so that we incorporated this as part of our Graduate program.
This will then be followed by what is our strategy to prepare a fresher/ someone new to WordPress as tech to get used to and be ready to be a entry level WordPress Engineer. The presentation finally concludes with an option for the audience to collect our entry level learning curriculum to be a WordPress developer.
